Case Study

Context: Pine Tree Camera Club is a fictional non-profit organization whose goal is to promote and share the passion of photography with as many people as possible. The club welcomes photographers of all levels, from beginners to seasoned professionals. Its mission is to teach and share the art of photography, all styles, from film to digital, including darkroom development and image editing software.

Challenges: For many beginner or intermediate photographers, using the manual mode of their camera is often perceived as too difficult and reserved for professionals. This is a myth that the Pine Tree Camera Club wants to address and open up the possibility for its members to unleash their creativity by working in manual mode.

Solutions: This training offers a first approach to manual mode by focusing on the concept of the exposure triangle and its practical implementation. Conducted by an expert in front of a small group of participants, this course offers an alternance between short theoretical phases and accompanied practice phases.

Results: Club members who have taken this training recognize that they feel more confident about manual mode and feel ready to explore new photographic and artistic possibilities that seemed beyond their reach before.Â
